The story behind the shop
A Small Shop With One Very Big Opinion About Books
While there are plenty of places to purchase books, we found that there were less places to actually enjoy them too. We're inviting you to join us in our little world dedicated to the beauty, joy, and wonder found in the pages that surround you as you step inside.
We invite you to come and stay a while, because hurry has no place here.

Small yet certain.
Quiet yet opinionated.
Unhurried yet deliberate.
We invite you to experience it for yourself. We'll be here to share in it with you.
Why we exist
A Place to Find Your Escape
Three decisions that shaped everything else about Rebel & Rosewood.
-
Fiction, and only fiction
We chose fiction on purpose. It's where new worlds are built, new friendships are built, new enemies are formed, and most importantly, where the real world drifts away for a little while. Sounds perfect.
-
Room to linger
Most shops are arranged to move you gently toward the register. This one is arranged to keep you in the chair. If you leave with nothing but a good afternoon, the shop still did its job.
-
Built for Exploration
Because we only stock fiction, each genre is bursting with titles to peruse. And really, who can resist the smell of new books? So yes, we want you to stay, get lost, and find something you'll love.
The reading room
The Armchair Is the Whole Point
The reading room is the quietest corner of the shop: a lamp, a rug, and enough armchairs that you rarely have to share one. There is no time limit, and nobody will come over to ask whether you are finding everything alright.
It exists because the best bookshops any of us have ever been in were the ones that let us stay. Choosing a novel is a slow decision, and it pairs well with a comfy chair and time to soak it all in.
Amy, Who Is Always Looking For Her Next Great Read
Step into my world. I'm so glad you're here.
I've loved reading since I was young, though it took a certain book series to put me on to this passion - kudos if you can guess! It is my distinct honor to curate not only a selection of books, but a space that celebrates all things literature.
I'd love to hear about your favorite books and authors, because there's no way I could read everything we have stocked! Though I will certainly try. And together, we can explore new and new-to-us stories. Because at the end of the day, that's what it's all about.
I love that though we all have different types of stories we gravitate towards, we can all agree that books hold incredible power. I'm here to celebrate that with you.
